Yogilates: Combine yoga and pilates!

Yogilates: Combine yoga and pilates!

Yogilates: Combine yoga and pilates!!!

Are you in a dilemma of choosing yoga or pilates? Are you eagerly searching for both of you, but haven't been able to find the answer?

The good news is that you can combine both into one exercise method. In recent years, a new alternative way of training, called yogilates, has begun to spread.

This program combines the pilates methodology with the basics of hatha yoga, both at the gym and at the posture. In this way, the benefits of exercise are manifold.

Trying to explain exactly what yogilates is, we would say that it is a way to meet ancient, eastern, spiritual yoga practices with a more modern, western and dynamic method such as pilates.

How the method works:

Yoga focuses first on flexibility and then on strengthening the practitioner, while pilates focuses on strengthening and then on agility.

Another difference is that pilates uses some resistance instruments such as straps, balls, etc. unlike yoga that does not require any specific equipment.

With yogilates we have a variety of exercises that help build muscle strength, flexibility and proper breathing. Also, the combination of more static and more dynamic exercises is ideal for proper posture and weight loss.

For example, pilates is known to emphasize strengthening the trunk. This can prepare the body for the proper performance of yoga exercises.

Another property of yogilates is that it combines exercise with spiritism. That is, she marries the proper execution of pilates exercises with the interactive yoga piece. This makes it ideal for those who want to strengthen their body and also reduce stress.

How the lessons are done:

Courses include ground exercises, stretching and breathing, usually accompanied by gentle music and relaxation at the end. Each lesson lasts about 50 minutes.

At the All4Therapy Holistic Health Center you can find innovative yogilates programs that have utilized the best of both training methods.
