Try a different rice milk paste without dairy!

The days require creativity and imagination! And the kitchen - especially now - can be our required 'field of action'. That's why we have a recipe for our favorite, spicy rice, made without dairy… Animal milk is replaced by coconut or almond milk. Just like that. Let's look at the materials needed and how to make it so that it doesn't lack anything in classic rice husk. This recipe even gives us a less 'ricey' and more creamy effect, and we do that with cornflower, as you'll see.

What we will need:

· 1 liter of coconut or almond milk (no added sugar if you trade)

· 120 g water

·vanilla extract

· 1/2 tsp. salt

· 90 g arborio or carolina rice

· 80 g honey or 60 g. brown raw sugar

· 20 g cornflour dissolved in 20 gr. water (extra water from 120g)

How to make it:

1. Put all our ingredients in a deep pan (with the exception of cornflour in the water), on high heat, and wait for a boil.

2. After boiling, lower the heat and leave the mixture on the eye for about 15 minutes. We estimate that about half will remain after boiling.

3. Stir constantly to avoid sticking, and if necessary, slightly skim if you see the mixture swell.

4. Just before removing the pan from the heat add the cornflour which we have dissolved in the water, and stir. Our rice cooker is ready!

5. Serve with plenty of sprinkled cinnamon, and for an even more nutritious effect you can avoid the sugar when preparing the mixture and serve it with honey from above.

Good luck!
