What you need to know about the unhealthy wrinkle-making habit

Treat allergies with herbs

With the coming of spring, there are few who suffer from allergies mainly from plant pollen. The most common symptoms are nasal runny nose, sneezing, itching and a feeling of bruising. Conjunctivitis and asthma are two more symptoms that may be associated with allergies, but they are quite rare and certainly need medical attention.

It is advisable to know, of course, that apart from plant pollen, allergies even cause house dust, as well as animals and fungi.

How can we get rid of allergies by physical means?

A huge variety of herbs that have been established in various cultures around the world according to biodiversity have proven to be able to reduce the sensitivity of the body to environmental allergens and to mitigate the symptoms. In other words, they have an antihistamine effect, ie they block the production of histamines in our body, the substances that cause an inflammatory reaction.

Ginger - It's a natural antihistamine. Relieves allergy problems by focusing on sinuses. Helps skin allergies, headaches, cough and inflammation in general. Ginger also calms the stomach and gives relief from bloating.

You can eat it either raw (in a healthy stir-fry dish) or in tablet form if you do not like its taste. Still you can ingest, so the essential oil released directly affects your problematic sinuses.

Chamomile - Used in cases of severe cold. It reduces inflammation while helping to relax the body. It also helps with headaches. You can brew the plant and drink two cups a day.

Thyme - Its infusion has an exaggerated and antiseptic effect. Boil a cup of water and add a spoonful of thyme. You can drink or make gargles 2-3 times a day.

Linseed - It has a softening and anti-inflammatory action and, in combination with other herbs, it helps in strengthening the body's defense while stimulating respiratory function.

Boil one and a half glass of water and pour one teaspoon flaxseed, half a teaspoon of thyme and half oregano. After 10 minutes, strain it and add one tablespoon of honey.

Echinacea - It is distinguished by its action as a natural antibiotic, while it also strengthens the immune system. Taken as a beverage or in drops.
